Ryan’s surprise proposal to Michelle at the South Gardens at the Art Institute of Chicago was straight out of a movie. Storming earlier that day, the rain cleared and the weather ended up being picture perfect! Ryan told Michelle he had a work event to go with some of coworkers after work, picked out a dress for her and said that everyone was bringing their significant others. Needless to say Michelle had no idea what was about to take place when they arrived early to the “so called” event and decided to take a little stroll.
As the two of them walked pass me into the garden I swear the world stopped spinning and I was watching one of the greatest moments of a love story unfold. The South Garden never looked more beautiful and the light was beyond stunning. Ryan got down on one knee in front of the Fountain of the Great Lakes, popped the question and of course Michelle said… YES!
From that moment on everyone couldn’t stop smiling. I’m thrilled I had an opportunity to be apart of the big surprise and could not be happier for the two of them. Congratulations Michelle and Ryan, I hope you enjoy this sneak peek into your magical evening!
