From the moment I met Emily and Andrew, their love for each other was prevalent. Emily is a city girl from Chicago and Andrew is a dairy farmer from Michigan. There is nothing Emily wouldn’t do for Andrew, even letting a cow lick her hand is not out of the question (wink, wink).

Last weekend I had the pleasure of documenting Emily and Andrew’s engagement session in Fremont, Michigan. Their love was sooo natural and I couldn’t of asked for better scenery. We started the session at the family lake, then the dairy farm were Andrew worked and some of the old barns in the area.

We had an amazing time and as a side note, cows are terribly scared of camera. Below is an image of cow #93 that wanted to give me a piece of his mind! I can here him saying, “there is an intruder in the barn!??!”. I laughed out loud when I saw it and I just had to include it. I have never shot at a dairy farm before, so it was definitely a fun experience for an engagement session.

I hope you enjoy these sweet images of Emily and Andrew as much as I did. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding this coming June!
