Monica gave birth to Camden Hillman on Jan 31st after 42 hours of extreme hard labor. Being 7lbs 4oz and 19.5 inches long, Camden was immediately taken to the NICU and monitored. It was heart wrenching that Monica and Steve were not able to hold Camden for the first 48 hours of his life. The moment Camden was released from the NICU the smiles never stopped.I have never seen two parents more in love with their new addition to their family. I knew when we did their newborn session that it would be about the pure moments of struggle, joy and love between the three of them. A true natural representation of what they went through together.

Camden is such a strong little guy and I’m so happy I had the pleasure of photographing him. What makes me even more excited to share this newborn session with you is because Camden is my first nephew! I’m so proud to be his Aunt Christine. I can’t tell you how overjoyed I am, just thinking about it still brings tears to my eyes.

Mike and I were lucky enough to go visit Steve, Monica, baby Camden and of course Copper last weekend in Colorado. Of course I brought my camera and documented everything. From his cooing to his smiles Camden is one cute kid and I’m not just saying that because I’m his aunt!

Hopefully Mike and I will have the privilege to spoil this little man rotten and who knows maybe we will be moving out to Colorado next (wink, wink)!

Thank you so much Carol, that means a lot coming from you!
